Bryan Stroube researches heterogeneous motives in markets, particularly how the tension between profit motives and other pursuits can shape market outcomes. His studies cover profit and non-profit organisations to help inform how managers and entrepreneurs better position their businesses to handle stakeholders with various motives. As part of this research, he spent more than a year as a Fulbright Fellow in China, focusing on lender decisions in online peer-to-peer microfinance. Prior to joining London Business School as Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, Bryan did a PhD in the Management and Organization Department at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
